Approximately 80 individuals attended an event at the Purple Iris at Hartwood Mansion in Martinsburg, W.Va. on June 19, when the Patriot's Path Foundation dedicated its veteran’s residential house on South Kentucky Avenue to the memory of the late Col. Thomas M. Stokes, Jr. USMC (Ret.) and renamed it the “Stokes House.”

During the dedication of the house, our President, David Hill said, “Colonel Stokes demonstrated throughout his life the attributes of honor, courage and commitment. These are the same attributes that we want our Foundation to be built upon.” Concluding the dedication he said "from this day forward Colonel Thomas M. Stokes, Jr. will not be forgotten by the Patriot’s Path Foundation or the veterans who reside in the Stokes House."
