How You Can Help

The $75,000 total we wish to raise is what it will take to operate the Patriot’s Path Foundation’s core programs for one year. While we may be eligible for and will pursue specific VA and HUD grants in 2009, these do not cover program operating expenses. That money will have to come from new sources.

To help us accomplish our mission, please consider making a tax-deductible donation to the Foundation, giving as generously as you can. We of course will greatly appreciate any contribution you choose to make, at whatever level of giving may be right for you. Your gift of any amount will make a significant difference in the lives of the veterans in our program. Here are some examples of the impact your donation could have:

• $5,000 would fund the startup and furniture for one new residential house.
• $2,500 would fund one month’s rent and utilities for the Patriot House central facility we hope to open in Martinsburg, bringing us closer to reaching the $25,000 in donations needed before we can sign a lease for this building
• $1,500 would fund the initial purchase of all household items for one residential house (cookware, dishes, linens, toaster oven, microwave, TV, etc.).
• $1,200 would provide basic cable TV and Internet access for one residential house for one year.
• $750 would fund the purchase of a computer and printer for one residential house
• $500 would provide four veterans with appropriate clothing for job interviews or initial job related attire.

The above examples represent the Foundation’s major expense categories at this time.  Your gift of any amount, whether $25, $50, $100 or more, is greatly appreciated and will be applied judiciously.
